Please be aware that this mod is currently in its early Alpha stage (Version 0.3):

• Custom vs. Mahou Tsukai Spells: In this current version, the majority of the available spells are custom-coded by me (about 35 custom spells), while a smaller portion (around 5 spells) are integrated directly from Mahou Tsukai. This was done to provide immediate gameplay variety and deeper functionality early on. Rest assured, future updates will focus heavily on integrating a massive amount of the original Mahou Tsukai spells into this new interface, rather than just adding more custom ones!
• Visual Overhaul: The current visual effects and particle layouts are temporary placeholders. In future updates, completely custom high-quality renders and animations will be created to replace the current basic visuals.
• Core Systems in Progress: We are actively building and balancing the foundation of the mod. Expect regular tweaks to mechanics and scaling.
• Interface Upgrades: A significantly more comfortable, customizable, and intuitive HUD and Grimoire management system is currently under active development.

Mahou Isekai is a Mahou Tsukai addon inspired by Isekai anime that completely overhauls the standard scroll mechanics in favor of an RPG-style magic progression system. Instead of cluttering your inventory with physical scroll items, all unlocked magic is managed through a dedicated client HUD and materialized directly into your hands when needed.

🌀 Step Into a New World

Awakening System & Unique Destiny

• The Ritual: Take any form of damage in Survival mode, look down at the ground, and press M. A cinematic ritual will permanently determine your core element (Fire, Water, Earth, Air, or Void).
• Unique Destiny: You do not get all spells at once. You permanently secure a random magic deck based on your rolled potential tier:
  • Villager: 2 random spells.
  • Novice / Gifted / Adventurer: 3 random spells.
  • Adept / Master / High Mage: 4 random spells.
  • Archmage: 5 random spells.
  • The Chosen One (Hero): Instantly grants 60% of all available magic.
  • Hidden Potential: Spells are drawn entirely at random. You might roll an endgame ability immediately, but you won't have the mana to cast it until you level up!

RPG Progression & Survival

• XP-Linked Mana: You gain a massive mana boost early on, but growth slows to +10 MP per level at higher stages (e.g., reaching 10,000 MP requires level 170).
• Leveling Rewards: Gain +15 vanilla levels after awakening to automatically unlock a new random spell.
• Death Memory: If you fall in battle, the system remembers your highest achieved level. Your unlocked magic and max mana capacity remain perfectly intact.
• Restoration: Leveling up only expands your maximum capacity. To fully refill your mana, sleep in a bed or wait for the morning sunrise.

Dynamic Combat & The Shadow Army

• Massive Arsenal: Harness over 50 different abilities, ranging from Spatial and Elemental magic to Temporal distortion.
• Shadow Summons: Capture the souls of defeated enemies! Store up to 10 shadow slots and summon them on demand to fight for you.
• Fluid Casting: Physical scrolls and staffs are completely invisible in your hands, keeping your screen clear for action.
• Combo Control: Every spell has its own individual cooldown. Use the Z and X keys to seamlessly cycle forward and backward through your deck.
• Dimensional Escape: Press R inside your Reality Marble to tear space open and safely teleport back to the Overworld.

Visuals, Sound & HUD

• Dynamic Overlay: Your HUD tracks your active spell, mana pool, individual cooldowns, and auto-sorts your deck (e.g., [1/3]).
• Fate Beams & Audio: The awakening beam color represents your tier (Gray, Blue, Red, Yellow), with unique sounds playing when you unlock spells of different rarities.
• Chat Spam Control: Use the /mahoumessages command to toggle system chat messages on or off.

📜 Quick Start Guide

1. Awaken: Take damage, look down at the ground, and press M.
2. Cycle Spells: Use Z and X to navigate your magic deck.
3. Cast: Press or hold R for regular spells. Hold R + Right-Click for continuous staffs or shields.
4. Recharge: Sleep in a bed or wait until dawn to fully restore mana.
5. Grow Stronger: Earn +15 vanilla levels to unlock your next random spell.
