Ever wanted to bring a slice of cinematic history into your Minecraft world—or just expand your farm with some golden goodness? Maize Mod introduces a lightweight, fully integrated corn farming experience, complete with custom crops, unique crafting recipes, and classic baked goods.
The Inspiration
This mod is a tribute to the iconic scene from Grown Ups where Rob Schneider’s character insists on calling it "Maize" because it sounds more "mystical." Now you can experience that mystical harvest for yourself! Check out the original scene on YouTube.
Features
- Wild Foraging: Keep an eye out while exploring! Breaking wild short grass gives you a chance to discover Corn Seeds.
- Full Crop Progression: Plant your seeds, watch them grow through 7 distinct stages, and harvest them at maximum growth to yield 1–3 Corn. (Harvesting early will simply return your seed).
- Crafting & Processing:
- Turn your harvested corn into Corn Flour using a quick shapeless crafting recipe.
- Smelt your corn flour into delicious, hunger-restoring Corn Bread.
- Seed Management: Easily craft your harvested corn back down into seeds whenever you need to expand your farm.
Whether you're building a massive agricultural empire or just want a new snack for your hotbar, Maize Mod has you covered. It's fantastic... it's maize-ing!
