Makertastic Totem Shattering
No reviews yet
A sub-data pack from Makertastic Experience that aims to balance the Totem of Undying in a new way.
Data Packs were introduced to vanilla Minecraft in version 1.13 and allow the server to modify data about the game, or run commands. Data Packs are compatible with all mod loaders.

About
Makertastic Totem Shattering is a sub-data pack from Makertastic Experience, created by me, as I consider this feature good enough to make an independent data pack of it. If you like this, you should also check Makertastic Experience, as it has even more funny features to play with!
Features
Added the Totem of Eternal Life. It's crafted with a Totem of Undying and a Nether Star. It works just like the Totem of Undying, except when it saves you, it shatters instead of disappearing completely. When shattered, it won't protect you from death anymore until it recharges. That takes about 20 minutes, as long as as it stays in your inventory.
To keep things balanced, evokers from raids no longer drop the Totem of Undying. You can only find it by killing evokers or looting chests in woodland mansions, and if you are REALLY lucky, you can find it in ominous vaults from trial chambers. Also, Evokers spawned in raids will now use their Totem of Undying in battle, instead of dropping it on death.
