Mana Transform

Mana Transform is a NeoForge addon for Dragon Survival and Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks.

It connects the two otherwise independent mana systems and allows either mana pool to act as a fallback when the primary pool is insufficient to complete a spell. Mana is converted only when casting requires it. The addon does not passively merge mana pools or provide manual mana exchange.

Default Conversion Ratio

1 Dragon Survival mana = 50 Iron's Spells mana.

The ratio and both conversion directions can be changed independently.

Configuration

Enter a world, open the Mods screen, select Mana Transform, and click Config.

On dedicated servers, permission level 2 is required to modify the settings. Ordinary players can view the synchronized server settings but cannot change them.

The server configuration is stored in:

<world>/serverconfig/mana_transform-server.toml

Requirements

• Minecraft 1.21.1
• Java 21
• NeoForge 21.1.186 or newer, below 21.2.0
• Dragon Survival 2.0.51 through 2.0.71
• Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks 1.21.1-3.15.x or 1.21.1-3.16.x

When using Iron's Spells 1.21.1-3.16.3 with Iron's Lib 1.21.1-2.1.0, NeoForge 21.1.200 or newer is required.

Mana Transform and its required dependencies must be installed on both the client and server.

Compatibility Notice

Mana Transform integrates with implementation-level mana classes and Mixins from its required mods. Dragon Survival 2.0.71 has been verified against the published mod JAR, including the mana API, synchronization payload and Mixin targets.

Versions outside the listed ranges are rejected during mod loading. Future Dragon Survival or Iron's Spells updates may require a corresponding Mana Transform compatibility update.
