About
Description
- Classic Faro. Bet on any rank from 2 to King, and the dealer turns over two cards each round: a Loser and a Winner.
- Real stakes. Your Faro Coins are your bank, and your inventory is your wallet. You can win a pile or lose the lot.
- Copper your bets. Mark a bet “coppered” to flip the odds
- Doublets. Two cards of the same rank in one turn trigger a doublet, and the house takes half.
- The last turn. Play the whole 52-card shoe down to the final turn.
- Case keeper. Four beads under each rank show how many of that rank are still in the shoe, so you can count cards.
- Full-screen table. The table is drawn in hand-made pixel art with Aseprite cards, plaques and buttons.
- Animations. Cards slide, flip and burn, chips stack, and the winner plaque lights up.

Cheat, or Catch the Cheat
- Peek. Sneak a look at the next card, but you might get caught.
- Accuse the dealer. If you think he’s rigging the deal, call him out. Get it right and you’re rewarded. Get it wrong and you pay for it.
- The dealer’s tells. A crooked dealer gives himself away with tells, though a clever one will bluff.
Faro Dealers and Table Limits
- A new villager profession. The Faro Dealer uses the Faro Table as his job site.
- Dealer levels set the rules. His trade level sets the table limit: Novice 25, Apprentice 50, Journeyman 100, Expert 150, Master 250 per rank.
- Better dealers cheat more. Higher levels cheat more often, hide their tells better, and are more likely to catch you peeking.
- House rules. With no dealer nearby, the table runs at a limit of 25.
Multiplayer
- Shared tables. Every Faro Table block is one table with one shoe, so everyone sees the same cards.
- See the other players. Their names and rank marks appear on the board.
- Fair turns. Anyone with chips down can deal, and a short cooldown lets everyone’s animations finish.
- Server-authoritative. All game logic runs on the server, so clients can’t cheat.
- Automatic stand-up. You’re seated out if you walk away, die or change dimension.
- A live table block. While a game is running, a deck sits on the table and the last Loser and Winner cards lie face up on top.
Cosmetics
- 5 card backs: Azure, Emerald, Midnight, Gold and Violet.
- 4 table felts: Blue, Burgundy, Black and Purple.
- Per-player settings. Click the shoe card to change your back and the corner ornament to change your felt. Your choices are saved.
- Two ways to unlock them:
- Earn them through advancements.
- Buy them from the Wandering Trader, who carries 2–3 random cosmetics per visit.
Sound and Controls
- Custom sound effects. Chips, shuffles, dealing, card burns, wins, losses, doublets, peeks, tells and more, all with subtitles.
- Keyboard play.
- 2–9, 0, J, Q, K: bet on that rank (0 is ten).
- Shift: take chips back.
- Ctrl/Alt: copper a bet.
- Space: change chip.
- Enter: deal.
- Backspace: clear bets.
- P: peek.
- X: accuse.
- H / F1: help.
- Mouse play. Everything is also clickable.
