About This Mod

This curriculum mod turns small moments of waiting in Minecraft into study time.

For example, while you are waiting for crops to grow, items to smelt, or base work to finish, you can open a learning book and answer a short set of questions instead of simply waiting.

When installed with the Manis Academy Core Mod, this mod lets you create learning books, read them, place them on country-specific bookshelves, and take small tests at a study desk.

Included Curriculum

This mod will gradually collect science and mathematics curricula from Japan and England.

The current version is the first edition of the mathematics curriculum, covering mathematics up to the level before university entrance.

• England curriculum: 150 books
• Total: 262 books

This first edition is intended to let you experience a full pre-university mathematics path from both countries inside Minecraft.

Planned Curriculum Update

One major update is planned for curriculum density and difficulty.

The goal is to make each country's areas of emphasis clearer. If a topic is treated as especially important in one country, it should feel heavier there. If it is treated more lightly, the books should reflect that too.

The aim is not to make every country look the same. The aim is to make the differences feel more natural.

How to Enjoy This Mod

The most interesting part of this mod is experiencing how curricula differ between countries.

You can study an overseas curriculum in your native language. You can also try your own country's curriculum in your first foreign language.

Even when the subject is the same, the order of topics, the weight given to each idea, and the wording can be different from country to country. This mod is about touching those differences directly inside Minecraft.

How to Play

Each country has its own book binding table.

Place a book into the binding table to create a new learning book.

You can read a learning book by right-clicking with it in your hand. You can also place it on a bookshelf for that country.

A study desk searches bookshelves within 2 blocks and lets you take tests from the learning books it finds.

The intended play style is to build study rooms for different countries. For example, you might build a Japanese mathematics room and an England mathematics room side by side, turning part of your Minecraft base into a small international school or library.

Goal of This Mod

The goal of this mod is to let players experience how curricula differ between countries, across multiple languages.

I want to make a small "study abroad" experience inside Minecraft.

A few minutes while crops grow, a short pause while smelting finishes, or a quiet moment between adventures can become a small study session with curricula from around the world.

Required Mod

This mod requires the Manis Academy Core Mod.

The Core Mod provides the study desk, learning books, bookshelves, book binding tables, question screens, and progress saving. This mod adds the Japan and England mathematics curricula on top of that system.
