Maple Syrup

For Minecraft 1.12.2

Maple Syrup is a mod around the production of syrup from tree tapping, that can be used to craft new food items.

Your journey start by crafting tree taps from iron ingots:

 By placing the tap with a bucket on a log, you can collect the precious sap. Only maples and birch can be tapped atm. Maple saplings can be found in villages.

The sap can be concentrated in an Evaporator to give syrup. The amount of sap needed depends on its sugar content. Using an Hydrometer, you can check the sugar content during the evaporation process.

New food items can be crafted using maple syrup, like pancakes, candied bacon or maple biscuits!

The mod is fully configurable. Tree tapping and evaporation recipes are based on json files, you can add your own in the config folder!
