MapWriter Continued
A continuation of the original MapWriter 2 minimap mod for Minecraft 1.12.2.
All original features remain intact – minimap, full‑screen map, waypoints, PNG export, underground mode, and Nether portal assistance – while numerous long‑standing issues have been addressed and performance has been significantly improved.
Improvements
- Added mob overlay – hostile, neutral, tamed, and player dots now appear on the minimap (enable
showMobOverlayin config; restart required) - Fixed circular minimap clipping on Nvidia GPUs
- Fixed waypoint and death marker persistence across dimensions
- Fixed Replay Mod and OptiFine compatibility
- Performance optimisations and cleaner configuration
- Improved language files
- Modernised build system
