Maxibonng's Armor Addons

Smelt brand-new alloys and forge them into five armor and tool sets, each with its own special power.

How it works

1. Smelt an alloy in the Smelting Cauldron

Combine two ingredients in the Smelting Cauldron, fuel it with a lava bucket, and wait for your new material.

Material Ingredients
Hardened Iron Iron Ingot + Coal
Rose Gold Copper Ingot + Gold Ingot
Rainbow Quartz Quartz + Bismuth
Withered Bone Bone + Ancient Debris
Molten Lapis Lapis Lazuli + Obsidian

Bismuth Ore is a new ore found in the End. Mine it with an iron pickaxe or better.

2. Make a clay mould

Craft clay armor or clay tools from clay balls (plus sticks for tools), using the normal armor and tool shapes. They have no protection and only 1 durability, because they're moulds, not gear.

3. Forge it in the Armor Anvil

Place a clay mould and your ingots in the Armor Anvil, add a lava bucket, and the anvil turns the mould into real gear. It costs as many ingots as the vanilla piece would (for example, 8 for a chestplate and 3 for a pickaxe).

Tool effects are built in, so they work alongside your own enchantments, and the higher level always wins.
