About

Description

Ever wanted to play Minecraft Dungeons, but in Java Edition? Then this mod is for you! MC Dungeons: Reimagined is a Forge 1.20.1 mod that aims to add Minecraft Dungeons content to the game, but with overhauled dungeons, bosses, and more.

The mod adds 3 dungeons from Minecraft Dungeons, those being the Blight Village (a rework of the Soggy Swamp), the Desert Temple, and the Fiery Forge. Each dungeon also has their respective boss at the end. The mod also overhauls the Skeleton Trap event, adds more to the vanila Raids, ambient particles to the End dimension, and more!

Requires Geckolib 4.8+

FAQs:

Where can I report bugs and crashes?

Please do so in the Comments section. I do not yet have a GitHub page for the mod.

Will their be a Fabric port?

Probably not.

Will the mod get ported to 1.21.1?

Yes, that is planned next.

Am I allowed to use this mod in a modpack?

Absolutely! Just remember to provide credit.

Am I allowed to include this mod in a video?

Of course! Again, just remember to provide credit.

Where is the config file?

Already added. You can configure raids, projectile count, Arch-Illager summons, and more!

Future Plans:

Finish the Giant Royal Guard.

Finish the Obsidian Monstrosity.

Finish the Arch-Illager/Heart of Ender.

Finish the Mooshroom Monstrosity.

Add the Wretched Wraith.

Add the Jungle Abomination.

Add the Ancient Guardian.

Finish the Tempest Golem.

Add the Vengeful Heart of Ender.

Add the Ancient Hunt and overhaul all the Ancients.

Add the Tower.

Overhaul the Bound Necromancer.

Overhaul the Nameless One and the Corrupted Cauldron.

Finish all WIP items.

There is still a lot more planned, but much of it will remain secret for a while.

Known incompatibilities and issues:

Most issues seem to revolve around shaders. There are currently two issues I have seen with Complementary: Reimagined:

  1. The Heart of Ender only renders the glowmask. The custom shader stops rendering completely while this shader is active. I have not tested this with other shaders.
  2. Sometimes on world reloads, bosses in the area will stop playing their idle animation.

Credits:

Huge credits to:

Mojang for creating Minecraft Dungeons, as well as Peter Hont and Johan Johnson for composing all of the game's music.

BobMowzie, Iron341, Polarice3 for making their mods (Mowzie's Mobs, Iron's Spells, and Goety, respectively) open-source, those helped me fix large bosses shaking, add custom bossbars, and add lasers.

ThunderLord777 for suggesting various Nameless One attacks, playtesting the mod, as well as for helping make the mod's trailer.

All music in the Minecraft Dungeons: Alternate Themes resource pack, as well as the Sacred Trials theme, was generated using Envato MusicGen.
