MCA Bewitchment Compat

This lightweight compatibility mod seamlessly integrates Minecraft Comes Alive (MCA Reborn) villagers with Bewitchment supernatural mechanics (Werewolves and Vampires) for Fabric.

✨ Features

🌙 Supernatural Transformations: Villagers with the werewolf or vampire gene will transform into Bewitchment Werewolves or Vampires at night.

🕊️ Peaceful Difficulty Support: Supernatural MCA villagers will not transform while the world is set to Peaceful. Already transformed villagers safely return to their original MCA form while preserving their supernatural nature, allowing transformations to resume normally when the difficulty is changed back.

🧬 Supernatural Inheritance: Children born through MCA Reborn can inherit their parents' supernatural traits, with inheritance rules for Humans, Werewolves, and Vampires.

👶 Growth System: Supernatural children feature full visual growth support (Baby → Child → Teenager → Adult), preserving their age correctly even during transformations.

💾 Full Data Preservation: When morning arrives, creatures revert back into the original MCA villager, preserving their identity, name, age, genetics, family relations, relationships, memories, traits, and other MCA data.

🛡️ Server Restart Protection: Transformed villagers are stored persistently, protecting their original MCA data across world reloads, server restarts, and unexpected shutdowns.

⚰️ Death & Tombstone Support: If an MCA villager dies while transformed as a Werewolf or Vampire, their death is correctly handled through MCA Reborn's native death system, including MCA tombstones.

✨ Resurrection Support: Villagers that die while transformed and are stored in an MCA tombstone remain compatible with MCA Reborn's resurrection mechanics.

🍎 Curing Mechanism: Use a Golden Apple or Enchanted Golden Apple on a transformed creature to cure them and safely restore their original MCA villager form.

⚠️ MCA Reborn Version Compatibility

MCA Bewitchment Compat 1.0.3 supports MCA Reborn 7.7.1-alpha.2, 7.7.1-beta.1, and newer compatible versions for Minecraft 1.20.1 using MCA Reborn's newer internal code structure.

Users running MCA Reborn 7.7.0-beta.2 should use the previous compatible version of MCA Bewitchment Compat instead.

Because MCA Reborn releases may become available on CurseForge and Modrinth at different times, always check the MCA Reborn version required by the specific MCA Bewitchment Compat file before updating.
