MCNextbots

A Fabric mod that adds nextbots from Garry's Mod into Minecraft!

MCNextbots is a client/server Fabric mod that adds custom 2D billboard PNG entities that chase the player, with the only goal to kill them. Nextbot entities all have their own PNG and chase sound, and there will be more added in the future!

How do I use this?

There are some commands that make you spawn nextbots:

• /nb spawn (nextbot name) Makes you spawn a nextbot in your position (not recommended if you're in survival mode)
• /nb match (nextbot count) (barrier radius) (time in minutes) This is the command if you actually want to play.

You can remove the nextbots you spawn with /nb remove (nextbot name || all)

How can I play with my friends?

There's commands to make a party with players that join your session:

• /nb party invite (player name) Will invite a player to your party.
• /nb party accept and /nb party reject Respectively accept or reject a party invitation.
• /nb party remove Remove a player from your party :(
• /nb party disband Delete your party (as the leader)

You can then run the match command as the leader to do a match with your party members.

How can I see all the nextbots available?

You can with the /nb list command. This will list all the available nextbots.

What does the match command do, exactly?

It will make a series of events happen:

• First, it will make you teleport to a random safe location in your world.
• Then, you'll have 15 seconds to quickly explore the place.
• After the first countdown ends, the nextbots are spawned and another countdown is started.
• There's also a barrier that will contain you and the nextbots, no one can exit.
• If the nextbots kill you (or the whole team, if a team match is in act) you lose.
• If you survive until the countdown ends, you win!
