MaydayLand

MaydayLand is a Fabric mod created as a tribute to the band Mayday. It introduces themed blocks, items, and a unique advancement system that bring a music-inspired experience into Minecraft.

Features

• Special Carved Pumpkins

  • Adds 5 custom carved pumpkin variants, each with a unique emoji and color, based on the band members’ mascots.
  • Crafted by combining a carved pumpkin with dyes.
  • Can be worn on the head, and while equipped, plays a representative track of the corresponding member.
  • Can also be combined with torches to create themed jack-o’-lanterns.
  • Retains vanilla functionality, such as summoning golems.

• Story-Driven Tutorial & Advancements

  • Players begin with a special tutorial book, which not only explains recipes but also guides them through the mod as part of a storyline.
  • An advancement system tracks progress as players discover each new item.
  • Collecting all five pumpkins unlocks a banner pattern of the band’s logo, usable in the loom (or craftable with paper + any pumpkin).
  • Lighting all pumpkin types unlocks a special glow stick, marking the climax of the storyline.
