WARNING: THIS MOD IS NOT COMPLETELY READY FOR SURVIVAL MODE YET!

Also note that if you do not install CB Multipart then item, fluid, and energy pipes will not be available - use other mod's pipes, although (AFAIK) only Mekanism provides gas pipes (Mechanimation's fluid pipes transfer both Forge fluids and Mekanism gases)

Mechanimation adds in animated machines to Minecraft. It's heavily WIP and many aspects are not ready for use in survival mode. The mod's main purpose is to be used alongside Metroid Cubed 4, but many of the machines can also be used to substitute other mod's machines.

The Press

The press is used to compress items, usually ingots into plates, although it has a few other uses...

The Fluid Reactor

The fluid reactor combines up to 3 fluids and an item to create another item and/or fluid - for instance, hydrogen and oxygen combine to form water.

The Electrolyzer

The electrolyzer uses electrical current to separate a fluid into two parts - for instance, water into hydrogen and oxygen.

The Hydrotreater

The hydrotreater, a key machine in oil refining, refines naphtha by removing trace sulfur elements.

The Desalter

The desalter, a key machine in oil refining, removes salt from crude oil.

The Catalytic Reformer

The catalytic reformer, a key machine in oil refining, reforms treated naphtha into gasoline.

The Distillation Tower

The distillation tower, a key machine in oil refining, heats up desalted crude oil to separate it into purer fluids.

The Merox Treater

The merox treater, a key machine in oil refining, removes mercaptans from kerosene, turning it into usable rocket fuel.

The Claus Plant

The claus plant, a key machine in oil refining, recovers elemental sulfur from hydrogen sulfide.

The Stirling Generator

The stirling engine is a simple generator that converts heat into electricity.

The Combustion Generator

The combustion generator converts explosive power into electricity. Different fuels produce higher or lower RPM and get consumed at different speeds.

The Pulverizer

The pulverizer crushes items, usually used to turn ingots into dusts.

The Blast Furnace

The blast furnace consumes fuels to superheat air, allowing it to melt metals and form pure steel from iron. Hotter surroundings increase efficiency - if you can make it hot enough, it may even be possible to melt metals without fuel...

The Arc Furnace

The arc furnace is a more advanced version of the blast furnace, using electricity instead of fuel for heat.

The Casting Table

The casting table, as the name implies, can be used to cast fluids into solid items. Cooling the fluids is easier to do in a colder environment...

The Assembly Terminal

<No image available for now>
The assembly terminal is your one-stop-shop for more advanced crafting. By providing a "blueprint" and some power, many different items can be created. After providing a blueprint, you can select a recipe to craft using the arrow keys at the top. Providing input items before selecting a recipe will restrict the selectable recipes to ones valid for that input.
If you provide a crafting table as the blueprint, the terminal will function as an automatic crafting table.
