Description

This is a very simple mod that allows you to use the Mekanism MekaSuit on planets and in space, via the Ad Astra mod.

Instructions:

To do this, a Localized Oxygen Storage Unit must be crafted and installed in the helmet. The recipe is relatively cheap: 2x Ad Astra gas tanks, 1x Ad Astra Oxygen Gear, 2x Mekanism Reinforced alloy, 1x Mekanism Module Base, and 3x Mekanism HDPE Sheets. The recipe is organized as shown below:

Once installed, the helmet can be fueled via an Ad Astra oxygen loader, or by any Mekanism method, using either regular or liquid oxygen. It can store 4,000 mB, four times what the space suit can hold. Since the MekaSuit is already so expensive, no temperature protection module is required. The suit will protect you in all environments, provided the full suit is equipped and filled with oxygen.

The reason I made this mod is I'm playing through a modded world with some friends, and once I found out about the MekaSuit, I really wanted to be able to wear it in space.

DISCLOSURE: This mod was made pretty much entirely with AI. I made it on a whim while playing, and since I didn't want to sit for multiple hours on my long weekend learning how to mod, I just had Cursor do it for me. If you disagree with that, then just don't use the mod. The icon, unit texture, and descriptions were all done by me.
That all being said, if you find any bugs, please leave a comment to let me know. AI might have gotten a lot better, but it still is far from perfect.
