Memento Beta

This mod adds modernized Beta 1.7.3 dimension.

Features

1. Separate Dimension. Live in both modern and old Minecraft. Beta dimension is accessible from both the Overworld and the Nether. Overworld: reinforced bedrock portal frame + beta fire. Nether: crying obsidian portal frame + beta fire.
2. Separate Seed. Beta dimension can have a separate seed for generation purposes. Live in both your favorite new and old places.
3. Beta 1.7.3 Terrain Generation. Visit famous seeds like Glacier, gargamel, 404 and 3257840388504953787 (pack.png).
4. Farlands. Modern world border -- around 30,000,000. In Beta 1.7.3 Farlands began around 12,550,800 (and had quite buggy rendering unlike in modern Minecraft).
5. Beta 1.7.3 Features Generation. Dungeons, small lakes, gravel and all ores generate like in Beta 1.7.3.
6. Modernized Biome Generation. Mod makes use of modern Minecraft blocks to modernize old biome. There are also new lake biomes that incorporate large water bodies.
7. Structures. Some modern structures (e.g. mineshaft) do generate in Beta dimension (but sandy their generation depends on main world seed).
8. Separate day/night cycle. Time in Beta dimension runs independently of the Overworld.
9. Seasons. Beta dimension has season cycle. It is more or less the same as season cycle in Better than Adventure mod for Beta 1.7.3.
10. Increased World Height. Beta dimension world height is 256 instead of 128 (like it was in Beta 1.7.3).
11. Bedrock & Reinforced Deepslate Melting. These can be melted using Molten Mantle item (brewing: Lava Cream (any lava + Magma Cream) → Glass Bottle).
12. Achievements. Achievements menu now exists as a separate advancements tab. Has few advancements associated with Beta dimension.
13. Old Fire/Lava with Procedural Textures. In Beta 1.7.3 water, lava and fire textures were generated in code. The mod is using same code from Beta 1.7.3 to generate same lava and fire textures. Beta Lava behaves like normal lava (but sadly doesn't interact with cauldron yet). Beta fire is used to light up portal and other blocks.

Credits

Mod uses bush leaves and sapling textures from Better than Adventure mod for Beta 1.7.3. Bushes can be found in savanna and shrubland.
