The Middle Ages: 13th Century
About This Mod
The Middle Ages: 13th Century aims to bring the 13th-century medieval era into Minecraft.
This is currently a test version of the mod and is still under active development. Around 40% of the mod is complete, with many more features planned for Version 1.0.
Current Features
The mod currently adds:
- 2 Civilians
- 1 Incomplete Medieval Town
- Bread Seller
- Knight
- Archer
- Soldier
- Dark Knight
- Dark Soldier
- Dark Archer
- Medieval Horse
- Medieval Horse Cart
Kingdom GUI
Press I on your keyboard to open the Kingdom GUI. Here you can view various kingdom and player statistics as the ruler of your land.
Feature Overview
Civilian Robbery System
Your civilians travel around the world carrying resources. If a Dark Soldier encounters a civilian, it will chase and rob them, stealing all of their Gems and Carrots.
After the robber is caught, you can decide their fate:
- Spare Him
- Execute Him
- Fine Him
The choice is yours.
Civilian 1 - Farmer
Civilian 1 works as a farmer. They grow crops and sell their harvest to the buyer within a 256-block radius.
Civilian 2
Civilian 2 is currently under development and will receive additional behaviors in future updates.
Hunger System
Both civilians can become hungry. When they do, they will travel to the Bread Seller and purchase bread before continuing their daily activities.
These systems are still being actively developed and will be significantly improved in Version 1.0.
Planned Features for Version 1.0
Version 1.0 will include many new additions, including:
- Medieval furniture
- More medieval structures
- Additional civilian professions
- Unemployed civilians
- Expanded AI behaviors
- More soldiers and enemies
- New gameplay mechanics
- And much more!
