Playing on forge but want to use Milkevs Essentials? Look no further than Sinytra! Milkevs Essentials has full compatability with Sinytra Connector for playing on forge.

Various blocks, items, tools and mechanics that Milkev would consider essential to any* playthrough of minecraft.

In the future this should come to have a fair bit more content! I've got lots of plans, though I don't know how to program most of them, so it will be a lot of learning for me.

All (future and present) blocks, items, tools and mechanics have configs to individually enable / disable them, as well as change their values

Items:

Extendo Grips
3 tiers of trinkets-equippable items that increase the players attack reach and block reach

Flight Charm
A super original item that enables creative-like flight while equipped 

Tool Belt
A belt that allows you to swap out your hotbar with a second hotbar when using its keybind

Condensed Rotten Flesh

Crafted with 5 rotten flesh, you can smelt or smoke this to get leather

Donut
An equippable donut that allows the player to eat even when at max hunger.
Jelly Filled Donut
In addition to the effects of the regular Donut, the Jelly Filled Donut continuously fills your hunger and saturation.


Mechanics Changes:

Instant Shield Block
Shields block instantly instead of having an invisible delay

Shield Surfing (off by default)
Holding up a shield nullifies fall damage

 
Datapack Style Changes:

Milkevs Custom Rules
From a private datapack I made a while ago. This makes the following changes;
  -Cobwebs are craftable from string and vice versa just like other material blocks
  -Ancient debris is effected by fortune (drops scrap, use silk touch if you want the debris itself)
  -Wheat is properly effected by fortune (in vanilla only the seeds are)

Milkevs Essentials and Neoforge!

Playing on Neoforge but want to use Milkev's Essentials? Look no further than Sinytra! Milkevs Essentials has full compatability with Sinytra for playing on Forge (1.20.1) & Neoforge (1.21.1).

Config Galore!

All (future and present) blocks, items, tools and mechanics have configs to individually enable / disable them, as well as change their values. Recipes are easily changable with datapacks! The default recipes are balanced around vanilla progression, with things like the Flight Charm requiring nether stars and elytra!

You can either report them to Github or my Discord! I'll do my best to help if I am able to! Please note that versions prior to 1.21 are not supported.

Items

Condensed Rotten Flesh (rotten flesh to leather! again?) Crafted with 5 rotten flesh, you can smelt or smoke this to get leather.
Dirt Singularity (for we all worship what is true - dirt) Imploding dirt with the help of a netherite star has caused the creation of an endless amount of the stuff
Alchemical Stasis Soother A magical charm that can freeze your status effects in place- nothing in, nothing out.
Mechanics Changes
Instant Shield Block Shields block instantly instead of having an invisible delay
Painting Stability Paintings can be placed on non-full blocks such as signs. Dunno when Mojang changed this but the hidden painting door shall return!
Shield Surfing (off by default) Holding up a shield nullifies fall damage
  New Recipes & Fixed Blocks Drops
Cobwebs <-> String Cobwebs are craftable from string and vice versa just like other material blocks
Fortunable Ancient Debris Ancient debris is effected by fortune, dropping multiple scrap! Use silk touch if you want the debris itself.
Wheat Fortune Fix Wheat is also effected by fortune, not just the seeds (in vanilla only the seeds are)
