Description
Enhance your Minecraft combat experience with vivid visual feedback for every mob encounter!
This datapack adds unique particle effects when hitting mobs, bringing your battles to life with custom animations. Each mob, from vanilla Minecraft creatures to those added by popular mods, displays distinctive particle effects upon taking damage. These effects are tailored to reflect the mob's characteristics, making every encounter more immersive and visually appealing.
Key features:
- Custom particle effects for vanilla Minecraft mobs
- Support for mobs from popular mods (e.g., Alex's Mobs, Born in Chaos)
- Blood effects and mob-specific particles (e.g., bone fragments for skeletons, slime for slimes)
- Subtle environmental effects to enhance the overall experience
- Optimized for performance to ensure smooth gameplay
Whether you're fighting a zombie, a modded creature, or a fearsome boss, this datapack adds a new layer of visual feedback to your combat, making each hit more satisfying and each battle more memorable. Immerse yourself in a world where every strike tells a story through unique particle animations!
It is a project for personal use but I wanted to share it with the community.
How to install: Load the file in the "datapacks" file of your world. Inside the game in your world, use the commands.
- /datapack enable "file/Bloody Particles_v2
- /function blood:load
With this all players will have a TAG "mostrar.sangre" and will see the particle effects. If any player does not want to see them inside a server simply remove their mostrar.sangre TAG.
List of currently supported mods:
- Born in Chaos
- Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks
- Stalwart Dungeons
- Illager Invasion
- Guard Villagers
- Majrusz's Progressive Difficulty
- Raided
- Bosses of Mass Destruction
- Alex's Mobs
- Mowzie's Mobs
- Sculk Horde
- Deeper and Darker
- True Darkness Elementary
- Deep Dark: Regrowth
- Alex's Caves
Note; Previously, the datapack required all supported mods to be installed to function properly. I've now enhanced its modularity, allowing it to work seamlessly even if some supported mods are missing. This means you can enjoy the datapack's features with any combination of supported mods, or even just with vanilla Minecraft.
If you think that the extra mods supported can generate some lag and/or you want to remove the effects of a particular mod, you can edit the file "Bloody Particles_v2/data/blood/functions/ticks.mcfunction" and modify the line of the mod you want to remove.
