About

Description

🚨DONT USE THIS MOD ON OTHERS SERVER! 99% CHANCE THAT YOU'LL BE BANNED! Use it in the worlds or on your servers.

Minehop

Minehop is an all-in-one bunnyhopping mod that brings Source-engine style movement to Minecraft. It replaces vanilla walking physics with a highly-tunable acceleration, friction and air-strafe model, letting you chain jumps together, build speed through proper strafing, and push your movement skill to the limit.

The mod is designed to feel familiar to anyone who has played movement gamemodes (KZ, bhop, surf): ground acceleration, air strafing, SV-style tuning values, and a clean HUD that shows you exactly how well you are moving.

Features

  • Bunnyhopping physics – smooth ground accelerature, air-strafe controls and configurable server-side tuning (SV-style: friction, accelerate, air-accelerate, gravity, max air speed, ground speed multiplier).
  • Strafe efficiency – a live percentage telling you how close your strafing is to the mathematically optimal angle.
  • Strafe gauge – a visual indicator (horizontal and vertical modes) that helps you find the ideal angle for maximum speed gain.
  • Pre-speed readout – shows the speed at the moment you leave the ground, so you can practice your setups.
  • Fall damage toggle – optionally disable fall damage.
  • Full configuration – every value is adjustable.

Installation

  1. Install Fabric Loader for Minecraft 1.21.11.
  2. Download and install the Fabric API and Cloth Config.
  3. Drop the Minehop jar into your mods folder.
  4. (Optional) Install ModMenu for an in-game configuration screen.

No new worlds are required — the mod works on existing saves.

Configuration

Minehop ships with sensible defaults, but every movement value is exposed for tweaking:

  • In-game – open ModMenu and use the configuration screen.
  • Server-side – the config is stored per-world/per-server in the standard Fabric config location, and server commands are available to adjust settings live.
  • Toggle – use the toggle keybind (bindable in Controls) to turn the custom movement on or off instantly.

An empty or missing config file simply means default settings are used.

For server owners

Minehop is fully server-compatible and the custom movement can be **completely disabled by the server** via the config or commands. This makes it easy to run on multiplayer servers while keeping vanilla movement available for players who want it. Installing the mod on a server does not require clients to have it (and vice versa), though clients will get the full HUD experience if they do.

Compatibility

  • Works in single-player and on multiplayer servers.
  • Client-side HUD and server-side movement are separated, so either side can be installed independently.
  • Requires Fabric API and Cloth Config; ModMenu is recommended.
