Currently in Alpha!!

• MiniRegion is a mod designed to optimize the existing chunk system as much as it can to reduce region file size.

As of the moment, the mod is in Alpha and I'd highly recommend not using it on actual worlds. However, if you'd like to help the development of this mod, you can try it on a new world and compare file sizes or spot errors printed in your logs. It should be able to read existing worlds but... worlds visited with Mini Region won't become compatible with vanilla afterward.

Until release, do not expect previous versions of Mini Region to be compatible with your version due to potential breaking changes.

Current modifications are:

• Raw serialization of simple chunk data (~16% reduction)
• Reducing chunk blocking size from 4096 bytes to 1024 bytes (~29% reduction)
