MITE: Modern

MITE: Modern is a challenging survival overhaul inspired by Minecraft Is Too Easy (MITE R196), rebuilt for Minecraft 1.21.1 NeoForge.

Modern Overworld terrain is retained while survival, crafting, equipment and progression are extensively reworked. Gathering resources, preparing food and upgrading your tools become important steps in a longer survival journey.

  • Optional integrations — Includes integration support for JEI, Jade, BetterCombat and AppleSkin.

Requirements and Installation

  • Minecraft: 1.21.1
  • Mod loader: NeoForge 21.1.259 or newer within the 21.1 series
  • Java: 21

Install MITE: Modern on both the client and the server when playing multiplayer.

JEI, Jade and AppleSkin are optional and should be installed separately if you want their integrations.

Optional Companion Addon

MITE: Modern ITE expands the experience with additional equipment, gems, tougher creatures, bosses and configurable progression.

The addon is optional. MITE: Modern ITE 0.3.1 requires MITE: Modern 0.3.1 or newer.
