Mixed Litter is a mod that adds remodels to many mobs in Minecraft and an extensive data-driven mob variant system alongside it!
The Remodels
Currently, these mobs are remodeled. However, we plan on remodelling more mobs as time goes on.

- Sheep
- Chicken
- Squid
- Glow Squid
Note that all remodels are configurable for the client, so you're free to toggle each one to your liking.
The Mob Variants
With this mod, every mob can support mob variants if a variant is created for them. Using any mod, you can create a new mob variant type which will apply to specific entity types you select. After that, any datapack can create new variants of that type! All mobs will spawn with one of each type of variant that supports them.
These variants can be used to group mobs and do anything! The most common usecase will be to set the texture for the mob but it can also be used to modify behavior for example. At their core, mob variants are just a way to apply data to mobs under certain conditions when spawning.
