What's SimpleWeapons?

SimpleWeapons is a modification for Minecraft Forge 1.16.5

It adds to minecraft 32 weapons that are fully craftable and compatible with other mods.

For see the craftings, just install the JEI mod.

Why did you make this mod?

Probably many people know me as the developer of RedHat (a shaderpack for minecraft) but i've decided to discontinue it for a bit.

Also, many developers false accused me, and i really felt like if i was useless and worthless, so i had to stop working on shaders until i feel it's time to continue working on shaderpacks.

Anyways, the reason why i did this do it's because i used many mods that add weapons, but all these weapons are too weak, or too powerful, or just break the vanilla style of minecraft.

So i did my own modification, which adds Spears, Katanas, Daggers, Hammers and Battleaxes.

Weapons

Katana

Less powerful than minecraft swords, but it has a faster attack speed, granting you to attack the enemy faster.

Spear

Spears have a slow attack speed, but they can do a very painful damage.

Hammer

Even slower than a spear, but does an amazing damage.

Dagger

Daggers have a faster attack speed than katanas, but they can't do a lot of damage.

Battle Axe

Slightly faster than hammers and slower than spears, and also slightly more powerful than hammers.

Battle Axes can also chop down trees and logs.

Eternal Knife

An extremely strong weapon and also very fast, but the crafting is really expensive.

Pistol

Still in development, and can only be obtained in the creative inventory.

Cutlass

Fast weapon that does a decent amount of damage

Musket

Firearm that can be upgraded throught "levels"

The higher the level is, the more damage it will do

Kama

Slightly slow and does a good amount of damage

Great Sword

Slower than a normal sword, but does more damage

Two-handed Sword

Faster than normal swords, and does the same damage as normal swords

Baguette Sword

Really fast and does 22 damage
