Description

An SMP server is available for this mod. Join https://discord.gg/cb74CGtGTj if you are interested, it helps out a bunch.

Tired of typical SMP wars where everyone is wearing the same thing and fights are decided by who has the most withers? Or maybe you just feel like being able to visit the end, but don't want to strip away the value of building by having everyone fly everywhere. Either way, MMOCraft Deluxe hopes it can be the mod to fix that!

Featuring a slew of varied content ranging from a class system to a pile of new mobs to populate your world, MMOCraft sets up a setting where players can diversify, pick the way they want to play and just do it! Choose from 9 starter classes when you start your world, with items available to change your mind should you grow bored of your selection. But be careful! It's a long haul to gather the materials for new class-changers if you lose the starter one...

Choose to play as:

Swordsman: A high damage class that specializes in swords and dealing damage, with few gimmicks.

Ranger: A potent ranged class that makes the bow less of a joke, featuring powerful or rapid attacks and an effectively limitless supply of ammo.

Barbarian: A tanky class that deals decent damage, but may hurt their flow in the process.

Rogue: A sneaky class that specializes in potion effects and poisoning enemies.

Mage: A control-based ranged class that can gather and unleash varied magic attacks to apply various effect to their targets.

Paladin: A sturdy tank class that prioritizes survival over slaying opponents and is quite difficult to defeat.

Bard: A potent support class that can empower allies or weaken enemies freely.

Shaman: A tough healer/damage hybrid, capable of dishing out decent damage and healing allies.

Cleric: A potent healer, weak in combat but able to deliver powerful healing to allies in a pinch.

Later in the game, unlock new options to add to the list, including:

Cavalier: A speedy fighter that is strongest on horseback.

Assassin: A clever debuffer that moves around quickly and dishes out many harmful effects rapidly.

Void Lord: A powerful control fighter that removes the freedom of casual movement from their foes.

Dark Mage: A nefarious ranged attacker, giving up health for maximum power.

Marauder: A destructive maniac that loves playing with explosives.

Titan: A true juggernaut that lacks offensive power but features unparalleled defensive might.

Each class uses a new Mana Bar as a resource bar, and an in-game series of XP tiers keep XP levels low, starting with a cap of 20 and ending with a cap of 60. In addition, later abilities have varied minimum XP levels and XP tiers required to use their skills, forcing players to level up a bit before they can unleash their most powerful attacks. Furthermore, this mod gives different classes different armor limits, so most fighters will be sporting weaker armor that you may be used to.

Besides the classes, this mod contains:
3 different new weapons, with 16 tiers each!
10 new sets of tools!
8 new sets of armor!
11 new ores!
40 new enchantments!
5 new curses!
48 new mobs!
2 new bosses!
A slew of various items!
Over 15 new advancements!
Even more!
And more to come!

MMOCraft is still in development. Feedback (especially from a multiplayer standpoint) is welcome and would be appreciated as I continue to improve this fun little project.

(Wiki is still pending, comments pertaining to class abilities will be answered manually for now.)
