Description

Spero Mod Reporter is a lightweight client-side Fabric mod that, on server join, sends a signed summary of your loaded mods to the server over a custom plugin channel. This enables servers to reliably check required/forbidden mods and versions without affecting gameplay.

Features

Integrity by design: Mod list payload is HMAC-signed to prevent tampering.
Automatic & silent: Runs on join—no commands, no UI, no gameplay changes.
Robust networking: Sends only after the server advertises the channel; retries briefly if needed.
Configurable: Simple JSON config for the shared secret.

Notes

Intended for server environments that validate client modsets.
Transmits only mod IDs/versions plus player identity and a timestamp; no additional personal data.
Compatible with common client mods and performance/shader stacks.
