About

Description

With Project Red freshly having a release for 1.12.2, I am very excited to start working it into a modpack, but I realized that compatibility support has not moved forward since 1.7.10 releases. Primarily, I miss the ability to create Red Alloy ingots using other modding features like the Tinkers Construct Smeltery.

Introducing Mojo-Redmetal, a fairly simple reproduction of this feature. It registers a new fluid: Molten Redmetal. This fluid can be created in a smeltery by blending various molten metals with Thermal Foundation's Destabilized Redstone (also conveniently meltable from redstone in a Smeltery). The molten metal can then be cast into ingots on a casting table. Redmetal can be created in the following ratios:

  • 144mB Iron (1 ingot), 400mB Destabilized Redstone (4 dusts)
  • 288mB Copper (2 ingots), 300mB Destabilized Redstone (3 dusts)
  • 472mB Tin (3 ingots), 200mB Destabilized Redstone (2 dusts)
  • 576mB Aluminum (4 ingots), 100mB Destabilized Redstone (1 dust)
  • 288mB Silver (2 ingots), 200mB Destabilized Redstone (2 dusts)
  • 288mB Gold (2 ingots), 100mB Destabilized Redstone (1 dust)

DISCLAIMERThis mod is provided as-is without any expectation of support. The author is not responsible for any adverse consequences of its use. The author IS responsible for any awesome consequences of its use.

1.19 update: only the molten fluid is included in the pack and dependencies on anything but Tinkers' Construct have been removed. Recipes for it can be added in a datapack.
