MonsterDiscs_KD
An anime and manga mod inspired by and takes aspects from the Monster Rancher / Monster Farm franchise.
With 50 different monster variants available, seek ou the Monster Discs buried underground to unlock your very own monster.
Craft a Monster tag to tame them, and a Freezing Crystal to keep them safe from danger.
Although I am a fan, I am not deep into the fandom like others, as such I have taken some liberties with how things function, play and look. All feedback is welcome, I want it to be fun for all players.
Although currently basic, the idea was to add in several monsters to Minecraft to have a fun little collection which will expand into actual Monster Rancher aspects including Stats, training, combat, combining / breeding and more. 50 different variants currently in the mod, of which several ??? and monster subtypes not yet available as full breed monsters.
All 50 variants can be obtained through Monster Discs which are found underground buried like ore. Most (if enabled by config) can be obtained through Music Discs as well.
This mod is to bring the spirit of Monster Rancher to Minecraft and not a 1 to 1 duplication. Player enjoyment is important and for those who enjoy both Minecraft and Monster Rancher, please let me know your hopes for the future of this mod.
