Description

Warning! Geckolib is needed or game will crash. https://modrinth.com/mod/geckolib

Currently there 7 mobs, several items (aside from spawn eggs), and two blocks

Note: all new items and mobs will only be mentioned in change logs from here on out.(1.2.0)

mobs:

Body Snatcher: A mob that resembles a human nervous system, similar to scp-1027, no notable traits except that it has a one out of 10 chance of spawning after a humanoid entity dies, i.e zombie, enderman, villager. Chance of dropping a brain on death.

Opposum: Spawning in most forests, these animals are harmless, but they will scream at you if attacked and if you dont leave fast enough they will faint, which releases a stench that gives nearby mobs nuasea and weakness, they will wake back up eventually. They can be breed with rotten flesh.

Basaltlisk: A netural reptile that rarely roams the Basalt Deltas of the nether, now is found in a structure in Basalt deltas. Thanks to their tongue, they have long reach and will retaliate if provoked. Their tounges will drag you towards them, beware of any lava pits! They also eat small magma cubes and attack bigger ones unprovoked. Eating a magma cube will produce a Basalt Lamp. can be bred with magma cream.

Volcanoback: mini-boss, erupts projectiles from back, performs swipe that hits in front of it and a groundpound, which be avoided by jumping. Immunity to projectiles and fire. Cannot swim. found in nether wastes.

Bony Moray: bites and can grab entities with jaw. found in lukewarm oceans. It can drop eel jaw and bones.

Lava Paddlefish: a passive fish that drops food, found near lava in nether.

SoulCatcher: a flying mob that shoots projectiles and has a beam attack, found in soulsand valley, can drop a soul bead.

Items/Blocks:

Brain: gives a small amount of exp on shift right click.

Basalt Lamp: Lights up area, when right clicked, it lights up an area that shows where notable mobs are located via glowing. What counts as a notable mob is as followed:

[ "minecraft:wither_skeleton", "minecraft:evoker", "minecraft:enderman", "minecraft:blaze", "minecraft:elder_guardian", "minecraft:ravager", "minecraft:witch", "minecraft:wither" ].

Beetle scales and armor: dropped from Volcanoback, armor has strength of iron but has a built in 50% resistance to projectiles and fire resistance upon full set being matched. Scales can be crafted into blocks.

Eel whip: a weapon with strength of wood sword but fast attack speed and long reach.

Soul Blaster: A ranged attack item that uses the soulcatcher's beam.

This mod will be expanded as time goes on.

Q&A:

Will you port to older versions or fabric? No. But you have my approval to do so. I will likely move to neoforge when I go to 1.21.

ETAs? No. Especially since a. I'm new to modding and b. I'm in university

Will you port to newer versions? Yes, eventally.

Will I port newer features to older? no, i wont touch older versions unless there is a serious bug or some big update needed.

Update:

After 2.0 in addition to adding a singluar or couple mobs, older mobs will be revamped wether thats a new texture ,animations, ai, two things or all of them.

I have a suggestion. Currently, I'm not taking suggestions at the moment, but maybe sometime in the future.

Will you port to newer versions? eventually, most likely after first boss is implmented. You also have my approval until then.
