Description

This is an unofficial Forge 1.20.1 port of More Culling, originally a Fabric mod by FX - PR0CESS. The original mod can be found at https://modrinth.com/mod/moreculling and https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/moreculling.

More Culling improves game performance by changing how multiple types of culling are handled in Minecraft. This includes block state culling to skip rendering hidden block faces, cloud culling, rain and snow culling, sign text culling, beacon beam culling, item frame LOD rendering with 3-face culling for distant frames, and leaves culling with configurable modes (default, check, state, depth).

This port converts all code from Fabric Yarn mappings to Forge Mojang mappings, with full Embeddium (Sodium for Forge) compatibility. The config page integrates directly into Embeddium's video settings screen as a dedicated tab, and a standalone Cloth Config screen is also available from Forge's mod list. Compatible with Sodium Options API's tabbed layout.

Requires Cloth Config. Embeddium is recommended for the best experience.
