Description

Tired of the same old dungeons with boring loot and identical spawners? The More Dungeons mod revamps the classic dungeon experience, making exploration rewarding again!

Instead of generic features, new (not regular!) dungeons are now true structures. This means you can easily disable them in your world settings if you prefer the vanilla feel. Each biome will get its own unique dungeon variant, featuring different building blocks, mob spawners, and exclusive loot tables.

Status

⚠️ This is a Beta release (1.1.11-beta). The mod is still under active development. Some planned structures are missing, loot tables and mob lists may change, and occasional bugs might occur. Please report any issues in the comments or via the creator's Telegram channel.

Requirements

  • Minecraft Version: 26.1.2
  • Loader: NeoForge

Loading

  1. Find the latest version of mod and download it
  2. Put your .jar in .minecraft/mods
  3. That's all!

Mangrove Dungeon

A swampy underground structure designed to fit naturally into the Mangrove Swamp biome.

  • Generation: Spawns between Y=-30 and Y=30.
  • Materials: Built from mud bricks and packed mud. Decorated with vines, moss blocks, and moss carpets.
  • Threat: Contains a bogged (swamp skeleton) spawner.
  • Visibility: Thanks to the "beard-thin" generation style, the dungeon naturally connects to nearby cave systems. You can often spot the entrance while exploring underground!

Need help finding it? Use the command:
/locate structure more_dungeons:mangrove_dungeon

The loot is distributed in weighted pools to ensure a balance between common supplies and rare treasures.

Ocean Dungeon

An underground sctructure designed to fit naturally into the Ocean and the Deep Ocean biome.

  • Generation: Spawns between Y=-30 and Y=30.
  • Materials: Built from prismarine bricks and prismarine. Decorated with glow lichen.
  • Threat: Contains a small guardian spawner.
  • Visibility: Thanks to the "beard-thin" generation style, the dungeon naturally connects to nearby cave systems. You can often spot the entrance while exploring underground!
