About

Description

This mod currently adds 9 new mobs, 8 new weapons/tools, two new biomes, and a currently very unfinished dimension to spice up your world, which honestly had too few spiders in it.

Suggested mods/resource packs to use alongside this mod are

Nyf's Spiders (for better ai etc)

Fresh Animations (because the spiders will look a lot better)

The Mobs

First off, we have the Amethyst Spider. The Amethyst Spider is a docile spider, which only attacks when threatened. If one has raw meat, they can feed it to this type of spider to tame it. Once tamed, these spiders are invaluable in battle, able to scale sheer cliffs and defeat many mobs if in a large enough group. They don't have much health, having around ten hearts, so if you are planning on bringing it into a dangerous area, make sure to have several others with you as well!

The second spider we have is the Emerald Spider. The Emerald Spider is a speedy, pack-hunting, green spider that uses pack tactics to overcome any prey, or at least try. Because they are incredibly weak (5 hearts of health and 1 heart of damage), they oftentimes punch far above their own weight class. They're only really a threat to a poorly equipped player, but can take even experienced players by surprise.

The third is the Diamond Spider. This spider is incredibly powerful, with more health than an enderman, and attack damage to match. They are quite slow, though, so you could potentially take them down if you have the correct equipment.

The fourth spider is the Coal Spider. Its stats are very similar to that of a normal spider, except they have a bit of armor and they have an extremely powerful venom.

The fifth is the Lapis Lazuli spider. It is, again, very similar to normal spiders, except it drains experience points on hit.

The sixth is the Nether Spider. These spawn in the Nether and set ablaze to any entities they hit.

The seventh is the Ender Spider. This spider spawns in the End, and make the Ender Dragon fight quite a bit more difficult.

The eight is the Zombified Spider. These attack every other spider type, and when they kill another spider, that spider turns into a zombified spider itself.

The ninth is the Netherite Spider. It spawns very rarely in the Nether and is quite a bit stronger than even a Diamond Spider.

I will not describe any other thing, to keep most things a surprise for the player to find out, except for one more detail.

Most of the modded spiders drop a fang, which can be crafted with other items into very useful weapons.
