Description
Morern PowerGrided
Modern Industrialization runs on its own abstract EU/cable network. Power Grid simulates real electricity — volts, amps, joules, Ohm's Law, the whole thing. Morern PowerGrided removes the wall between them: every MI machine that produces or consumes EU now plugs directly into a Power Grid circuit, through a real connector, over real wires, obeying real physics.

No more separate power grids. MI's own cables and wires are stripped out of the world on load — no orphaned dead network, no leftover clutter in your creative tab. Wherever a recipe used to call for a bare MI wire, it now calls for the matching Power Grid one instead. Your factory has exactly one power network from now on, and it's the real one.

Three ways to plug in
Every machine picks its mode automatically:
- Storage units become real batteries — a bidirectional connector that charges from the grid and discharges back into it, same as a Power Grid accumulator.
- Generators (diesel generators, steam turbines) feed straight into the grid as a power source — no more routing EU through cable, just raw output.
- Every other EU machine — furnaces, macerators, assemblers, all of it — draws grid power directly into its own recipe energy.
Nine new wires
One material, one job. Copper, gold and iron already existed in Power Grid; Morern PowerGrided adds the other nine MI cable materials — Tin, Silver, Cupronickel, Electrum, Aluminum, Kanthal, Annealed Copper, Platinum, Superconductor — as proper Power Grid wire types, each with its own current rating on a smooth progression.
Pick the cheap wire and it'll do the job on a light network; overload it on a heavy one and it burns — no artificial tier-lock, just real current limits doing what they'd do in a real circuit.

Wrench it wherever you like
The connector isn't stuck on one face — click the edge of the block with a wrench and it mounts flush on any of the twelve physical edges, so it never fights with your cable runs or your build.

FAQ
Do I need to change my recipes or rebuild my factory? No — MI's own recipes, tiers, and machine behavior are untouched. Only how power gets to the machine changes.
Do I still need MI cables? No, and you can't place new ones — they're gone from the creative menu and any placed in the world get cleared out automatically. Everything routes through the connector and Power Grid wires now.
Does this replace Power Grid's own machines? No — it's a bridge, not a replacement. Keep using Power Grid's own generators, batteries, and devices exactly as before; MI's machines just now speak the same electrical language.
Requires both Modern Industrialization and Create: Power Grid — this is a bridge mod, it does nothing on its own without either.
