About

Description

The lack of 1.17 mods was a bit disappointing to me so I decided to fill in the gaps. Available for latest snapshot, and 21w14a (the last snapshot to support deepslate as a non-experimental feature that has to be activated through the use of datapacks).

The mod's primary purpose is to be a different version of NetherOres, available for 1.17 snapshots. It allows vanilla ores (coal, iron, lapis, copper, emerald, gold, diamond, redstone, small gold (nether gold), quartz, and ancient debris) to spawn in all 3 dimensions. The rarity of each ore is adjusted depending on the home dimension (e.g. nether quartz will be less common in the overworld and more common in the end). All ores can be smelted from their ore form into an ingot, and raw ores (when applicable) will also follow the vanilla pattern of their ability to be smelted. However, the spawn rates of non-native stone ores (quartz and small gold) are reduced by 33%, rates of non-native nether ores (every ore except from quartz, nether gold, and ancient debris) are increased by 50%, and the spawn rates of any of the end ores are increased by 100%.

I am completely open to suggestions. Leave some in the comments, or hop into the discord: https://discord.gg/TamfvveQsg
