Description
Mortal Relics
Mortal Relics is a Forge 1.12.2 mod that adds powerful relic amulets with server-controlled death protection mechanics.
Each relic is equipped in the Baubles amulet slot and provides a different survival, resurrection, or staff utility behavior. The mod is designed for servers that want special relic items distributed by staff, commands, events, shops, crates, or other server-side systems.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.12.2
- Minecraft Forge 14.23.5.2847 or compatible
- Baubles 1.5.2 or newer
- MixinBooter 10.7 or newer
- Java 8
Relics
- Soulguard Amulet: preserves configured inventory and experience, and sends the player through the normal respawn flow. The amulet is consumed when it activates.
- Monster Reborn Amulet: opens a timed resurrection window after lethal damage. If used in time, the player returns at the place where they died instead of respawning normally. The amulet is consumed when it activates.
- Phoenix Down Amulet: places the player in an incapacitated state after lethal damage. Another player can help them up before the timer expires. If helped up, the amulet is not consumed. If the timer expires or the player gives up, the player dies while preserving configured inventory and experience, and the amulet is consumed.
- Final Stand Amulet: prevents immediate death, restores health, applies configured positive potion effects, and marks the player with Death Sentence. If the player kills another player before the timer expires, they survive. Otherwise, they die while preserving configured inventory and experience. The amulet is consumed when it activates.
- Arkham Boss Amulet: a staff-focused relic for damage testing. It prevents the wearer from dying without making them fully immune to damage, and it is never consumed.
Notes
- Relics activate only from the Baubles amulet slot.
- Relics do not currently have crafting recipes or mob drops.
- Server configuration controls multiplayer behavior.
- Client-side configuration does not override server rules.
- Ancient variants can be enabled or disabled through server configuration.
Dependencies
Baubles and MixinBooter are required and must be installed alongside this mod.
