Brine

Brine adds many new features to Minecraft that primarily focus on the deep ocean biomes. After finding a deep ocean with a boat you will get your first and not last glimpse of the immense under-water being known as Vorthalax. Brine adds many new creatures such as the Amalgum, a spider-like amalgumation of steel that scuttles across the ocean floor. Some speak of Amalgums actualy being the souls of monsters killed by the player since Amalgums have a strong hatred against all players.

Crab Eels are purple eels that have been geneticaly modified by an ancient underwater civilisation to have crab legs. Old sailors theorise that they were given crab legs to be kept as a common house pet. These slippery creatures kill any weak fish that comes near the deep ocean and prefer to hunt in packs.

Claw Jellys are the natural predator of the Amalgum. They have a claw, similar to that of an arcade claw machine, that they use to pick up the metal spiders and crush them, absorbing their nutrients through the water. These fish are venomous but also drop a strange gel when killed. This can be crafted into Gel Bombs to release some of the claw jellies painful venom over your opponent.

Restless Sunfish are giant fish that are resistant to a claw jellies venom.they take advantage of this by being the natural predator of the claw jelly. They have the unique ability to cloak themselves in a thick inky coat to confuse their prey. When given nauseous gel, they grant the player with 2 minutes of water breathing. The distinct patterns on their scales make them blend in with the night sky making them exceptional hunters at night.

Lance Fish are a relative species of the sword fish and have a sharp nose for stabbing. These violent creatures often hunt Restless Sunfish and Crab Eels but if none are nearby they might turn on you. They are experts at PvP and use their long noses to stab prey. When defeated they drop their sharp nose that you can use to craft the Lurk Lance. A weapon that lets you move across the overworld with ease.

Murkite is the oceans netherite. A material used to craft the Pipe 'n chain, the Lurk Lance and an Anchor. You obtain Murkite by finding an Ancient Ruin under water and stealing all the Ancient Plants that grow there. After getting mor via bonemeal, you can use them to craft Murkite.

The Boss of brine is Vorthalax, Atlantic Scourge. To summon him you must wait till hes staring at you. By throwing an Anchor at him you anger him, causing him to surface and fight. After defeating Vorthalax he drops the Atlanchor, a legendary weapon and the only item left of the city he destroyed.

And thats about it! expect huge updates in the future but for now, equip your Gel Bombs and raise the Anchor and set sail into the abyss!
