Gnomes

Gnomes is a subtle mod that enhances the dark forest a little with some friendly creatures. in this mod you will come in contact with the Red and Purple gnomes that live in their Mushroom homes! cute little guys...

but that's not all, using red and the new purple mushrooms you can create red and purple paste to create to new shades of planks from oak or dark oak planks. (It won't work on birch or spruce, etc.)

along with those additions you also have the opportunity to try Gnome stew, a special and rare drop that will give you some interesting effects after eating them.

Recipes:

purple and red mushroom paste are made from mushrooms, that's it.

the woods can be crafted with the paste and oak or dark oak wood, the crafting is shapeless.

gnome stew can't be crafted, it's a rare drop.

all red and purple plank recipes work the same as the rest of the wood types.

updating information: due to a technical difficulty, the mod you download is all that is left of it, and I will have to start from scratch before updating and bug fixing which may take a month or more but hopefully less than that after release.
