Description

Prevents world damage by replacing creeper explosions with fireworks, while still damaging players and mobs. I didn't like how creepers stopped being scary in other anti grief datapacks, so I made this for my servers.

Creepers have a slightly shorter range from using fireworks, but are still pretty deadly (my friends are scared of creepers again). A normal creeper creates a single firework, and a powered creeper creates 9 fireworks. Each are packed with 10 firework stars for damage and effect. This may cause lag on lower end computers, but I've only noticed it with powered creepers.

Powered creepers will not drop heads, I don't currently know a reliably way to get that working and it's not really something I'm looking into fixing. I'd suggest using other datapacks with this one to add an alternative method to get mob heads again or make a pull request yourself to patch it for others.

The datapack works by giving creepers hunger and conduit power potion effects and detecting the area of effect cloud generated after the explosion.
