Description

Safe Zone Mod for Fabric 1.21.1

Create protected territories in Minecraft! Place 4 Safe Zone Blocks in a rectangle to create a safe zone that prevents hostile mob spawning. Each zone remembers who created it and displays territory ownership messages.

Safe Zone Mod lets players claim territory by placing special blocks. When 4 blocks form a rectangle, they create a protected zone that:

  • Prevents hostile mob spawning (zombies, skeletons, spiders, creepers, illagers, drowned, etc.)
  • Displays territory ownership when players enter
  • Protects full height from world bottom to top
  • Saves automatically and persists across server restarts

Core Functionality

  • Safe Zone Block: Redstone brick-like block with particle effects
  • Territory Creation: Place 4 blocks to form rectangle/square corners and create your own safe zone
  • Territory Ownership: Each zone remembers who created it and shows "[PlayerName]'s territory" when entered
  • Spawn Prevention: Blocks hostile mobs from spawning inside zones
  • Full Height Protection: Zones protect from world bottom to world top

Territory System

  • Territory Messages: When anyone enters a safe zone, they see "[PlayerName]'s territory" message
  • Owner Tracking: Zones remember who created them, even if the player is offline
  • Visual Feedback: Redstone particle effects at corner blocks when zones activate

Admin Commands

  • /safezone remove <playername>: Server operators can remove all safe zones for a specific player
    • Requires OP level 2
    • Removes zones from all worlds
    • Automatically saves changes
  1. Install Fabric Loader 0.16.0+ for Minecraft 1.21.1
  2. Install Fabric API 0.116.4+ for Minecraft 1.21.1 (required for commands)
