Welcome to a new survival challenge. This mod introduces a mysterious and formidable creature named Bob into your world. Designed to fit smoothly into the vanilla game while shifting your nightly survival strategy, Bob brings an aggressive presence that will force you to keep your eyes on the horizon. Whether you are looking to spice up your hardcore world or simply want a fresh threat to test your defenses, Bob offers a unique encounter unlike standard monsters.
Bob strictly adheres to a nocturnal schedule. He avoids daylight entirely, choosing instead to materialize under the cover of dense darkness. This turns your midnight resource gathering into a high-stakes stealth mission.
Do not expect a slow, lumbering target. Bob possesses incredible swiftness, allowing him to close gaps quickly, flank unsuspecting players, and dance around your standard melee defenses.
Bob prefers to keep his distance during a fight. He is equipped with a bow and will relentlessly pepper you with arrows from afar. This forces you to utilize cover, shields, or your own ranged weaponry to survive.
You will spot him coming from a distance. Bob features a striking, vibrant blue aesthetic that makes him instantly recognizable against the dark terrain of the night.
Standard player weapons will not work against him. Bob possesses a highly specific vulnerability and can only be defeated by the spiders lurking in your world. Surviving an encounter requires you to use the environment to your advantage and lure him toward his natural predators.
