Description

This is Vivarium, my best project yet! it adds 12 brand-new biomes!

  1. Whitebark Pine forest which adds a brand new wood type. Its like Pale Oak but easier to get!
  2. Fancy Oak Forest. You remember these annoying trees in oak forests? Now they're everywhere in this biome!
  3. Giant Sequoia taiga this one is self-explanatory. Spruce trees, but GIANT!
  4. Fir Forest. Probably the least-well fitted gamemode, it blends so horribly, the fact its hiding a new wood type can't even save it ngl :/
  5. burnt jungle. I dont think i need to explain.
  6. Baobab Savannah. The trees are just really tall, I couldn't find any way of making them wider except for building dozens of variants. Since i'm lazy, I just made it filled with grass and tall trees.
  7. Ender Forest. A forest that spawn in the end, and looks INSANE with shaders, my favourite biome out of them!
  8. Canadian Tundra. Highly inspired by the North American tundra, ir features very little trees and patches of moss on the ground, probably the worst biome to spawn in since theres almost litterally nothing.
  9. Tropical Forest. Jungle. BUT MORE!!!
  10. Tall Grass Plains. Just read the name until you understand.
  11. Mixed Forest. Oak forest x Spruce taiga collab
  12. Ancient Basins. Named after the hollow knight area, these blackstone deltas are really cinematic and make for a great spot for a base in the nether.

Note: while most of these biomes are based on real life, they might not be depicted like they are in real life.

Also, i ran out of ideas, this is in "early acces" until i have twenty biomes, so feel free to give ideas in the comments

Other note: i am well aware that mods like terralith or Oh the biomes you'll go have more that triple the amount of biomes, so dont roast me plz.

Other Other note: shoutout to chatgpt for the mod icon!
