Duplicating allays with colored amethysts makes the copy with corresponding color:

First you'll need to craft the Amethyst Smithing Temlate of the color you want the enchantment to be;

Then combine the template, enchanted item and lapis on a smithing table to change the color of the enchantment

• Amethyst Shield

Will deal damage back to the attackers, but each attack will break one of its amethysts.

To restore amethysts you can righ-click them with shield in your inventory

You can enchant shield with mending, unbreaking or sharpness, which will also affect its amethysts

You can add amethysts of different colors to shield, to customise it
