World Hearts (Aether Cores) adds brand-new materials, powerful consumables, and unique mechanics to Minecraft!

Expanded Material System: Smelt Iron Ingots in a furnace to obtain Steel! Craft Steel Swords, Steel Pickaxes, Steel Axes, Steel Shovels, Steel Hoes, Steel Shears, and a full set of Steel Armor (Steel Helmet, Steel Chestplate, Steel Leggings, Steel Boots). Steel tools and armor are slightly stronger than iron, but far weaker than diamond. Smelting your first Steel will earn you the advancement "Forged by Fire", and collecting a full set of Steel Armor unlocks "Iron Will".

Cores & Special Apples: Craft powerful Cores—Core of Earth, Core of Monsters, Core of Soul, Core of Rebirth, and more—used to create formidable apples that will make your battles significantly easier.
