MTR Rail Works

THIS PROJECT WILL GO A COMPLETE REWORK ON MTR 4.1.0

MTR Rail Works is an expansion for Minecraft Transit Railway (MTR) that introduces extra, highly-configurable rail construction tools not available in the base mod. Designed to make building bridges, tunnels, and trackside structures faster and easier.

Available for: Minecraft 1.17.1 through 1.20.4 on both Fabric and Forge.

Features

Rail Worker

A single, all-in-one configurable tool that replaces the need to carry multiple items. It handles bridge floors, tunnel excavation, and wall/ceiling construction in a single placement!

• Custom Configuration Screen: Press Sneak + Right Click in the air to open the GUI. Adjust building modes (Bridge / Tunnel / Walls only / Walls + Ceiling), width, height, and materials.
• Easy Material Selection:
  • Sneak + Right Click on any block to save it as your floor or wall material.
  • Ctrl + Scroll Wheel to switch between floor and wall material slots.
  • Batched & Connected Building:
    • Click a node, then a second connected node to build the segment instantly.
    • Click an unconnected node to start a second independent segment — both segments build together in a single batched operation once finished.
    • Sneak + Right Click on a node to force a second segment, even if it's connected to the first.
  • Smart Wall Mirroring: When building two segments at once, walls automatically mirror onto the outward-facing sides. Parallel tracks get outer walls instead of overlapping on the same side!

Bridge Wall Creator

While base MTR includes a Tunnel Wall Creator, MTR Rail Works fills the gap for bridges!

• Builds walls along a bridge's edges, one block below rail level.
• Features 3 height and width variants.
• Includes toggleable side modes (Both / Left / Right).

Dedicated Creative Tab

No more searching through MTR's tab — all tools added by this add-on are grouped cleanly into their own Rail Works creative tab.
