Description

Directional, distance-attenuated voice chat in Minecraft via Mumble's Link plugin — hear your friends' voices pan and fade based on where they actually are in the world.

This is an unofficial fork of zsawyer's MumbleLink, ported to Minecraft 1.21.11 / Forge 61.2.0. All credit for the original mod goes to zsawyer and contributors (Robijnvogel, magneticflux-).

Requirements:

  • Minecraft 1.21.11, Minecraft Forge 61.2.0+
  • Mumble with the Link plugin enabled (Configure → Settings → Advanced → Plugins → "Link to Game and Transmit Position")

This mod is 100% client-side. Do not install it on servers — each player who wants positional audio installs it locally.

Includes ExtendedPASupport, which injects the world spawn location and dimension into Mumble's context/identity so positional audio only links players who are actually in the same world/dimension.
