Description
🍄 Mushroom Corruption Mushroom Corruption is an endgame expansion designed for players who want to push the limits of survival. This mod introduces a high-cost, high-reward progression system that transforms standard Gold equipment into "Corrupted" gear—a tier that is 2x more powerful than Netherite.
By utilizing the unique biology of the Mushroom Biome and dense minerals from the Nether, you can finally turn the most fragile metal in the game into its most indestructible form.
🛠️ The Workstations The Mushroomian Table A standard Smithing Table cannot handle the fungal infusion process. You must craft the Mushroomian Table to begin.
The Recipe: An Enchanting Table in the center, flanked by Red Mushrooms, with Lapis Lazuli and a Diamond at the base.
Purpose: This is the only table capable of bonding the Mushroomian Template to your Gold gear.
💎 Crafting the Corruption The Mushroomian Template (The Core) This is the most expensive component of the mod. It requires a massive investment of materials to prove you are ready for endgame power.
The Recipe: 4x Crying Obsidian in the corners, 4x Gold Blocks on the sides, and 1x Gilded Blackstone in the center.
Sustainability: Because the initial cost is so high, you can duplicate your templates using 2x Diamonds, 2x Gold Ingots, and your existing Template to create a full 2-pack.
🔥 Features: Why Go Corrupted? Gold Reimagined: Finally, a reason to craft Gold tools. Use your Gold armor and tools as the base for the infusion.
Double the Power: Every piece of Corrupted gear is statistically 2x stronger than Netherite in terms of protection, damage, and mining speed.
Infinite Durability Feel: Gold's low durability is replaced with a massive pool—2x the durability of Netherite, making it the ultimate tool for massive projects.
Endgame Aesthetic: Features a unique "infected" look that stands out from standard metal armors.
📖 The Progression Loop Build the Table: Upgrade an Enchanting Table into the Mushroomian Table.
Hunt the Materials: Gather Crying Obsidian and Gilded Blackstone from the Nether, and Gold Blocks from your hoard.
Forge the Template: Create the Mushroomian Template.
The Infusion: Take your Gold Gear and the Template to the Mushroomian Table to unlock the 2x Netherite power.
💡 Why I Made This In standard Minecraft, Netherite is only a marginal upgrade over Diamond—the stats are nearly identical. I created Mushroom Corruption because I wanted a tier that feels truly powerful. By infusing Gold gear with this corruption, you get a significant jump in performance that makes the grind for Crying Obsidian and Gold Blocks worth the effort.
