About
Description
Mycomancy is a dark, organic magic mod about mycological exploration inspired by mods such as Biomancy and Mana & Artifice. Grow fungi, feed a living colony under the earth and weave versatile and powerful spells.
The Colony
- Place an empty core and colonize it with spores. Tend to it to progress in the mod, growing rooms and expanding your fungal network.
- Inject yourself with a parasite mushroom and grow stronger.
Spellweaving
- Write spells as Weaves: chains of actions, conditions and targets that you put together for unique results.
- Set traps, pull yourself along hyphal cords and create mould doubles of yourself and others.
- The system is meant to encourage exploration and reward experimentation with tons of special interactions.
Thralls
- Enthrall any mob to fight for you and force it to do your bidding.
- Force a villager to gather your mushrooms for eternity.
- Control a thrall as if it was your own body and never leave your base personally.
A guided adventure
- An in-game guidebook that explains each system as you discover it.
- It's obtained by following the mod's advancements, and more pages appear as you unlock more advancements.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.21.1
- NeoForge 21.1+
- GeckoLib (required)
- Optional: JEI and Jade support
