This is a mod where you can discover and tame various beetles. have fun!

currently added beetles:

        -weevil

        -stag beetle

        -ox beetle

        -ladybug

        -longhorn beetle

        -firefly

        -cockshafer beetle

   Weevil

can be found in birch and jungle forests

trades rotten flesh for useful items.

drops wing fragments and husks

feeding it berries will cause it to get tamed for some time. keep feeding it to increase the time it is tamed

   Stag beetle

spawns in dark forests or on the beach

These are very strong beetles dealing 5 damage 2 times to every target when tamed.

They can be tamed by feeding them pork

dont fly as long

   Ox beetle

spawns in the mesa biomes

dont do much yet. just walk around

Longorn beetle

spawns in flower forests

crawls around with high speed and can be tamed with glow berries

ladybug

spawns in flower forests

likes poppies and turns stomped land into farmland

firefly

comes out at night in flower forests, stays at ground during day

at night they drop luciferin, which can be put in a jar for display

cockshafer

can be tamed with oak saplings. has the ability to be ridden, fly and attack.

Items

If you aquire the beetle muscle from weevil trading you can combine it with beetle husks and wing fragments to craft small wings.

if you dont have one you can craft tiny wings out of wing fragments and some tape
