Introduction

This is a lightweight technology mod with a cat theme.

Please note that NekoTech is still in the alpha testing phase, and the content may not be fully complete. We appreciate your anticipation.

If you're tired of boring logistics and dull production lines in typical tech mods, maybe it's time to add some cute cats to your factory. After all, who wouldn't want a bunch of adorable kitties running around and working for you? Or better yet, why not build an entire tech tree around cats?

What's inside?

Materials: New crops like catnip and cat grass, ores such as tin, plus several new alloys.

Machines: Some machines, most of which need cats to actually work.

Tools: A mix of production tools and little cat-toy gadgets for playing with your furry workers.

The mod adds various cat-related materials, items, and machines. Power generation, logistics, and processing all rely on your feline friends. The style stays close to vanilla Minecraft – you unlock better materials by gradually upgrading your furnace temperature, which then leads to better equipment and fun cat-themed gadgets.

How to start:

• Dig underground for tin and aluminum – they spawn like other ores. Smelt them into ingots, then toss them into the Alloy Pot with other stuff to make better and better alloys.

• Build Workbench and Hammer so you can make Metal Plates, which are one of the basic ingredients you'll need for almost everything in this mod.

• To get your first feline workers, craft a Cat Box and trap a wild cat. Feed it to tame it, and it'll start dropping Cat Fur and other goodies – plus it'll actually help you run machines!

• Plant some Cat Grass and Catnip – you'll need them to make component casings. Then craft different machine parts and slot them into your machines so they can actually run.

Installation Requirements

The version of Nekotech runs with Fabric API on Fabric loader.

Install these before adding Nekotech to your game.
