A Hunter x Hunter adventure for Minecraft. Awaken your Nen, take the Hunter Exam, climb the Heavens Arena, join the Phantom Troupe in Yorknew, and clear Greed Island.

Nen

• Awaken your aura the slow way through meditation, or have Wing open your nodes in the Heavens Arena.
• Find your type through water divination: Enhancer, Transmuter, Emitter, Conjurer, Manipulator or Specialist.
• Master the techniques: Ten, Zetsu, Ren, Hatsu, Gyo, In, En, Shu, Ken, Ko and, new in 0.3.0, Ryu, which shifts your aura between attack and defence as you fight. Techniques can now be mastered, so they cost less aura to hold.
• Develop a Hatsu from 12 canon abilities: Jajanken, Bungee Gum, Chain Jail, Emperor Time, Godspeed, Hundred-Type Guanyin, Skill Hunter, Black Voice, Double Machine Gun, Warp Punch, Crazy Slots and Deep Purple. Bind it with vows to make it stronger.
• Be born into a family: Zoldyck, Kurta, Freecss, Netero, Meteor City and more. Each has its own perks and favours its own Hatsu.
• Level up as a Hunter: earn Hunter XP and spend skill points, and rise from Rookie to a starred Hunter.

The Hunter Exam

Find the Kiriko's cabin in the woods and pass her test, then fly to Zaban City and give the right order at the steak restaurant. The exam itself follows canon, phase by phase, all the way to the Hunter License.

Heavens Arena

Climb from the first floor to the 200 Class. Survive Hisoka's welcome, book fights on the fight board against Gido, Riehlvelt, Sadaso, Kastro and Hisoka himself, take on the Floor Masters, and win the Battle Olympia.

Whale Island and Yorknew City

Visit Gon's home island, fish for the Master of the Swamp, and sail for Yorknew. Bid at the Underground Auction, work for the Mafia, and take a number in the Phantom Troupe by beating the member who holds it.

Greed Island (new in 0.3.0)

• Getting in: Battera is recruiting. Pass Tsezguerra's selection, hold your hands over a Joy Station with Ren active, and you're pulled into the game.
• A whole island to explore: the towns of Antokiba, Masadora, Aiai and Soufrabi, a port, forests, mountains and coasts.
• Card rules: everything you pick up becomes a card. Say "Book" to open your binder and "Gain" to make a card real.
• Spells and monsters: 41 spell cards cast by name, and 34 kinds of card monsters.
• Other players: a cast of NPC players who trade, team up, and try to rob you.
• 100 Specified cards, each with its own quest and its own real effect once gained.
• The canon story: Bisky's training, Razor's dodgeball match, the Bombers and their Countdown, Paladin's Keep, and more.
• Clear the game: the Game Masters receive you in their castle. Take three cards out of the game for good, hear the maker's message, and collect Battera's reward.

Gungi (new in 0.3.0)

• Craft a Gungi Board and play the full game: a 9x9 board, towers three high, 14 kinds of piece, and pieces placed from your hand.
• Opponents: a friend, or the computer at three levels.
• Betting: Gungi players in Yorknew, Zaban City and the Heavens Arena play for real stakes.
• Komugi: somewhere far away lives a blind girl who has never lost a game.

Gear

Weave Hunter Cloth at the Tailor's Loom, mine Aurite deep underground, and forge Zoldyck Steel. Wear the outfits of Gon, Killua, Kurapika and Leorio, and fight with their weapons: Gon's fishing rod, Killua's yo-yos, Kurapika's bokken and Leorio's switchblade.

Requires Minecraft 1.21.1 and Forge 52. Servers and players must use the same version of the mod. Back up your worlds before updating.
